Brain Food: Key Nutrients for Mental Health

with Mackenzie Reeser, MPH, RDN, LDN

In this webinar Registered Dietitian and Director of Nutrition Services, Mackenzie Reeser, discussed the key nutrients that support brain function and mental health.

These days, many of us are aware that the food we eat contributes to how our brain works and, ultimately, to our overall mental health. Mackenzie Reeser, MPH, RDN, LDN, Director of Nutrition Services at ILC, shared with attendees some specific nutrients that contribute to brain function and how those nutrients support mental health. She also shared practical tips on how to incorporate foods rich in these mental health-promoting nutrients into your everyday eating habits.

“ILC clients have the opportunity to explore their relationship with food and the coping behaviors they’ve adopted. We help them dive deeply into the work of figuring out how to interact with food in ways that align with their values and fuel their lives.”
