Video: Navigating Food, Family and Social Challenges During the Holidays

Navigating Food, Family and Social Challenges During the Holiday Season
with Mackenzie Reeser, MPH, RDN, LDN
Fri, Dec 11th | 12pm-1pm CT

In this FREE webinar, Director of Nutrition Services, Mackenzie Reeser, MPH, RDN, LDN, talks about the following challenges we may be facing in the coming weeks:

  • Food – Foods you may find challenging because of caloric density, less structured meal times, and how to meet nutritional needs with unfamiliar foods you didn’t cook.
  • FamilyFamily commenting on weight changes or food choices and talking about their own food beliefs/diets/good vs. bad foods.
  • Social Increased advertisements about dieting and exercise; holiday foods marketed as “indulgent”; and the idea that you should restrict or compensate to be able to enjoy the food you eat.
The holidays can be difficult to navigate both as a person struggling with Eating Disorders or Eating Disorder recovery as well as the clinicians walking clients through it. We hope you’ll join us for this important discussion.
