Alumni Frequently Asked Questions
When you leave ILC, you will receive an email from our Alumni Coordinator seven days after discharge. This email will contain a survey and the option to opt-in or out of our Alumni program. The benefits of opting into the program include access to the Alumni app, monthly Alumni newsletters, and invites to Alumni meetings and events!
When you discharge from the program, you will be invited to join the app by our Alumni Coordinator either via email or your phone number. So you don’t miss any communications, it’s important to check your spam and make sure to add us to your ‘safe senders’ list. If you have not received an invite to join the app, you can text or email the Alumni Coordinator to get invited!
Yes! We offer virtual Alumni support meetings via Zoom. These are led by our Alumni Coordinator and will eventually also be hosted by our growing number of Alumni Ambassadors.
Alumni Ambassadors help further the reach of the Alumni program, beyond what just the Alumni Coordinator can do. They lead peer support meetings, speak to potential clients about our program, help host Alumni events, are available for speaking opportunities, provide valuable feedback to the Alumni Coordinator, and more.
We periodically send surveys to all Alumni who have opted into the program to gauge who might be interested in being an Alumni Ambassador. A full breakdown of the responsibilities is in the interest survey. From there, candidates go through a vetting process to determine appropriateness, and an ambassador training once selected.
We love when clients have valued their experience at ILC so highly that they want to come back and be a part of the team. We require at least two years' time after discharging from the program before being interviewed for a position on our staff.
We are so sorry to hear that you are struggling and are here to help in any way we can. You can contact our Alumni Coordinator, Savannah Stein at email@example.com at any time. She will connect you with our Admissions team and support you during the process of readmitting into the program.
