
Michelle Bruning, LMSW, CSAT Candidate
Michelle Bruning is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) at the PHP/IOP level of care, working with individuals experiencing symptoms related to mental health, trauma, substance use disorders, and sex/porn addiction. Prior to working in treatment, she worked with individuals re-entering the community following incarceration. Michelle received her Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Tennessee. She is a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) Candidate and has completed training in Brainspotting Phase I.
Michelle enjoys working collaboratively and relationally with clients, combining direct and honest feedback with understanding. She believes that building awareness of unconscious patterns and belief systems alongside a compassionate witness is integral to the healing process.
Outside of work, Michelle enjoys weight training, curating playlists, and playing with her cat, Bean.
