“Home isn’t where you’re from, it’s where you find light when all grows dark.” – Pierce Brown
Women’s Residential program at Integrative Life Center brings light to dark places. Our homes for our residential level of care are bright, comfortable residences where clients live with others on a similar journey, supported by compassionate professionals.
Located about 20 minutes from the bustling city center, the Women’s Residential campus feels like a retreat, tucked away in the rolling hills of West Nashville. The community is comprised of two separate six-bed homes on 25 wooded acres.
Women’s Residential campus are staffed 24/7 by trained Resident Assistants, under the direction of a Residential Director, Clinical Director, nurse and/or physician. Residential staff provide clients with all transportation to support meetings, medical appointments, offsite activities and even approved opportunities for recreation and connecting with nature.
Participants in the Women’s Residential program receive the benefit of our farm-to-table Healing Foods program. Meals are thoughtfully crafted and planned by our Director of Nutrition Services in conjunction with Pinewood Farms, providing clients with delicious food that is locally sourced and conducive to overall wellness of the mind, body and spirit. The Residential program is aligned with each client’s individualized treatment plan. Masters-level therapists lead 35 hours of programming along with two individual sessions per week onsite. Healing is enhanced through integrative approaches like EMDR, yoga, spirituality groups, breathwork, brainspotting, psychodrama, trauma-informed body work and massage, acupuncture, sweat lodge, music therapy and art therapy. View our full range of therapies and modalities here.
Residential clients also receive the benefit of trauma-informed acupuncture once per week and massage + body work sessions twice per month included in their programming (*UPDATE: these therapies are suspended indefinitely due to COVID-19 precautions.)
From day one, our medical team assesses, treats and evaluates each client from a biological perspective to ensure optimal health and benefit from program participation. Nursing staff is available and onsite at the Residential campus 24/7. Clients also are introduced to a primary care physician who specializes in trauma-informed addiction and mental health services at our onsite medical clinic, Integrative Health Centers, who can continue providing in-network primary medical care after discharge from ILC.
